Said The Rainbow To The Apocalypse

Said the Rainbow to the Apocalypse is inspired by a post-modern pre-apocalyptic vision; an abstract presenting the choice between two undetermined and opposing futures—one reflecting positivity, the other pessimism.

The starting point for this range was essentially the impeding environmental crisis facing humanity, as well as a constellation of other social and political issues. It is a crisis of course humans have been facing for a long time, but one which seems to be gaining momentum, and with it a sense of urgency to start to move towards a solution.

These environmental concerns led us to explore greater cosmological questions… Where do we come from? What is our fate? In terms of imagery, this led us to explore symbols from the natural world—from the deep sea to outer space. We also looked at scientific imagery such as thermal mapping, molecular clusters, fractals and satellite photos of the earth.
